He is married to Cordelia Edgerton for 17 years and has 3 wonderful kids.

He has always mentally and physically challenged himself, and training for his life’s calling as both a Special Forces Operator and Strength and Conditional Coach began at the age of five by putting 110% into all his athletic pursuits: baseball, football, wrestling, soccer—virtually any athletic activity he could get his hands on. When he joined the U.S. Army, it was no different. He set the highest expectations for his time there and was determined to exceed them. His first goal was to become a U.S. Army Special Forces Soldier, also known as a Green Beret, then become an Officer
and leader in the same organization.

Within decades of investing in his ambitions, he was awarded his dream and positions far greater and more fulfilling than he could have hoped for. In 1998, he began earning credentials in the fitness industry, obtained his Personal Trainer Certification, and later developed a CrossFit Program for the 10th Special Forces Group. Later, programs were built for 1 st Special Forces Group in Okinawa, and his athletes went on to win the Asian CrossFit Games. This was only the beginning of his passion for training. Over the years this also led to completion of a range of certifications such as Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Olympic Weight Lifting Coach, Power Lifting Coach, and a range of other critical technical skills. While retiring as a Special Forces Officer, he completed a Masters in Health & Sport’s Science and accepted an opportunity as the Head Strength &
Conditioning Coach for the Special Warfare Human Performance Squadron. Within this position he has had a direct role in training personnel before, during, and after selection and qualification training supporting their goal to become Air Force Special Operators in the following fields: Pararescue (PJ), Combat Control (CCT), Tactical Air Control Party (TACP), and Special
Reconnaissance (SR).

He also concurrently is the owner of 18A Fitness where he develops future warriors. 18A Fitness isn’t just personal training, it make warriors.
