If there is one key to mental and physical recovery, it is sleep. Deep rejuvenating sleep. 

Here ‘s my  sleep routine that I share with my professional and corporate athletes :

    1. Stop eating by 8pm
    2. No electronics by 9pm
    3. Before you climb into bed –
      1. Turn of the Wi-Fi
      2. 10 minutes of red light exposure – I use the Joov quad.
      3. 2 minutes – Cold shower
      4. Make sure the room is completely dark – remember your skin can pick up light and interrupt melatonin production
      5. Room temperature 68 degrees F (I sleep on an Ooler mat).
